This weekend, I finally got to shoot my wonderful neighbors to celebrate their pregnancy! Baby Warner Pierce is due in September, so time was ticking quickly to get these done. However, I could not have loved this shoot and exploring downtown Goldsboro more! Vic had tiffany laughing and looking magnificent the entire time despite the heat and her lovely french style chair couldn’t have complemented downtown Goldsboro more. Congratulations to you two!

Another set of pictures from my southern excursion last week. This time, they are from Savannah, Georgia!

These colored glasses in Southern Gents Antique Shop, caught the eye of Vogue Magazine. These beautiful glasses fill the windows of the shop and epitomize the antique and artsy feel of Savannah.

God bless this boy and his father for putting up with all sorts of antique shopping. Too bad this place butchered their name.

Green Glass Doors, well really green glass windows, but I thought of that awesome word game when I shot this. I love old glass bottles, especially the greenish teal ones. I especially love the insulators that look like fat glass mushrooms.

…pralines, diet coke, shrimp and grits, color, persistence and love.

Everyone is in amazement at the Charleston Candy Kitchen, home of the best pralines.

After a hot day of walking and shopping, Mrs. Donna cools off with a diet coke at Hyman’s, a Charleston charm.

Persistence is what you must do with everything in life. Don’t ever give up, keep pushing through, and you will shine (and finish that big bowl of shrimp and grits).

Large and colorful sums up the south with these houses along the Charleston Battery.

Direction, love, and of course, the beach. Do you know which way you will go?

This year, the fourth of July was celebrated on Sullivan’s Island, which is slightly north of Charleston, South Carolina. Nothing beats fireworks from the north and south. And nothing certainly beats good ol’ American s’mores  on a good ol’ American holiday.

An American flag flies near 3123 Marshall on Sullivan’s Island. The sunsets along the South Carolina coast were beautiful every night and the 4th of July was no exception.

After a lovely steak dinner grilled entirely by Jerry, we brought out the marshmallows and skewers to toast (and burn) what was going into our s’mores.

Oh my, s’mores!

Tess chowing down on her s’more that was dripping melted Hershey’s chocolate. The s’mores were a hit and now I’m wishing for more.

We watched the fireworks from Charleston and Isle of Palms this year. That makes two shows in one night and they were all beautiful! This extra-large red, white and blue jaw-dropper was from Charleston.
