mommy & me: queen anabelle!
I cannot believe this girl is already 4-years-old! I remember her as a little baby nugget at Thanksgiving after she was born, chasing her around a farm as a sassy two-year-old, and then as a romping toddler at my wedding! I couldn’t have had more fun at this shoot! What’s better than turning 4, playing with “pixie dust,” crowns, leaves, and running away from evil trolls? Absolutely nothing! I piled my car full of crowns & sparkles and met Lauren & Anabelle at Waynesborough Village. The light was totally gorgeous, the leaves were abundant & golden, and that little playful look in Anabelle’s eyes were about to let loose! The love between Lauren & Anabelle is bigger than a 4-year-olds imagination and it’s apparent in every one of their photos! I have enjoyed all the years I have photographed these two & am looking forward to capturing their life as the years go by! Thanks for making a lovely fall afternoon turn into an epic adventure!
Oh, to be 4-years-old again and twirl like a princess whenever I could! Thanks for such an awesome day, Lauren & Queen Anabelle!
class of 2014: bianca decatur
The air is starting to get chilly, the leaves quintessentially sum up autumn in North Carolina, the golden sun sets early, and high school football is coming to a close. For this session, I got to photograph one of our senior cheer captains in the beautiful and historic downtown Durham. For Northern High senior, Bianca Decatur, her year is rushing by! She is such a brilliant, intelligent, independent, and inhibition-free young woman with so much life ahead of her! And I have absolutely no doubt that she will take the bull by the horns (haha, corny Bull City pun intended!) and rule this world like the strong-willed and cheerful soul that she is! This Durham girl isn’t afraid of anything! Bianca, it was great to spend time with you outside of our cheer practices and hear about your dreams and aspirations! Enjoy the rest of your senior year as it’ll fly by faster than you’ll ever imagine!
Enjoy all this time you have left! And let your momma love on you all she wants :)! Best of luck, Bianca!
